"Today I received a phone call then a text message from this agency. The text stated, "This is Josee from Andy Burris State Farm. I just caught your voice mail, sorry I missed you. I'm calling to request permission to work on a personalized auto quote for you." I responded that I had not left any messages. The response was, "Our office has your contact information since we quoted your insurance in the past." I responded, I've never asked for a State Farm quote in my life. Ever. The next response was, "We may have received your past request from a third party vendor." I used to be an adjuster for another carrier. I would pay more money NOT to have State Farm based on my personal experiences litigating cases with State Farm which allowed me to see how they low ball cases. If your agency is going to cold call potential clients, your opener shouldn't be a multiple completely false statements."
